ACTIVITY PROMPT
So far, you've created mental maps to help you remember your city, explored Riyadh through a city hunt, and designed a mood board to reflect the environment and vibes of the place.
Now, we’re going to pause and shift focus:
It’s time to start designing the main building for your centerpiece project. This will be the highlight of your future city or space—so think bold, creative, and meaningful!

For example:
If you selected museums, focus on how Vision 2030 envisions the future of museums. Look at design concepts, technological integration, and visitor experience.

Now it’s time to imagine your own version of it for the future city. To start imagining the design think of some shapes you found in your city abstraction city. Once you have a form to your building, think of it's function.
Write 2–3 sentences about how your project idea
- What is your future design, and what does it do in the city?
- How does your design help the environment or save energy?
- How will it make life better or easier for people?
- How does it connect to other parts of the city (like roads, homes, or power)?
- How does your idea match Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 for a better future?

Watch the video in the next slide and draw your idea project idea.
- Add labels to show how it works.
- Draw a person next to it for others to understand the size of your structure.
- You can draw the outside, the inside, and how people use it.
This will not be your final design — we’ll evolve it further by adding design elements inspired by your earlier 'City Hunt & Abstraction' activity." Your concept now is just the starting point. Think of it as a rough idea that will grow as we bring in patterns, shapes, and features from your city exploration.
