Our planet is changing, with issues like desertification becoming more serious. Desertification occurs when fertile lands turn into deserts, often due to climate change and human activities. People around the world are finding ways to tackle these problems. One approach is using more renewable energy, like solar or wind power, which doesn't pollute the air. Advances in materials science, nanotechnology, and robotics are also playing a crucial role. These innovations may one day help us transform desert lands back into fertile soil.
In this studio, students will develop a vision for new Eco-droids designed to protect nature and combat environmental threats. They will explore emerging renewable technologies, with a focus on desertification as a key environmental and ecological challenge. Students will gain a foundational understanding of energy principles, mechanics, and the application of robotics to enhance the health of our planet and our own well-being.
