Prompt

In this activity, you will refine your design prototype based on feedback received from your peers during the feedback session. By iteratively improving your prototype, you will enhance the effectiveness and feasibility of your design concept.

Materials:

  • Low-fidelity prototyping materials (e.g., cardboard, paper, glue, scissors)
  • Sketching materials (pencils, markers, etc.)
  • Feedback notes from the previous session
  • Camera or smartphone for documenting your prototype

Instructions

  1. Review Feedback:

    • Take time to thoroughly review the feedback notes and suggestions provided by your peers during the previous feedback session.
  2. Prototype Revision:

    • Based on the feedback received, make edits or revisions to your prototype. Consider how you can address the key points raised during the feedback session to improve your design concept.
    • You may choose to refine your existing prototype or start from scratch if necessary. Focus on enhancing the functionality, aesthetics, and overall impact of your design.
  3. Celebratory Showcase:

    • Prepare your refined prototype for display during the celebratory showcase.
    • Set up your prototype along with any supporting materials (sketches, notes, etc.) in a designated area.
    • Participate in the gallery walk to view and engage with the prototypes created by your classmates. Provide constructive feedback and insights on their designs as well.

Deliverables:

  1. Revisions made to your prototype
  2. Showcase preparation and participation
